2. Data collected and purposes
2.1 Business contact form
When you complete the B2B qualification form, we collect: first and last name, business email address, telephone number, type of activity, number of points of sale, how you came to contact us, and your free-text message.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry, qualify your requirement and get back to you within a business-to-business commercial relationship.
Legal basis: the legitimate interest of Maître Pierre in developing its commercial activity with businesses (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), together with pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)).
2.2 Qualification questionnaire (visitors outside France)
An English-language questionnaire may be offered to visitors located outside France. It collects your business sector, your number of points of sale and the product format you are interested in, then your email address if you wish to receive a tailored proposal.
Legal basis: your consent, given by voluntarily entering your email address, together with the legitimate interest of Maître Pierre in developing its international business.
2.3 Determining your country of connection
So that the questionnaire above is shown only to visitors located outside France, your IP address is used to determine your country of connection. This processing is carried out on the server hosting the website, without transmitting your IP address to any third-party service. Only the “country” information is retained for the duration of your session; your IP address is neither stored nor linked to your identity.
2.4 Audience measurement
We consult the traffic statistics provided by our host (pages viewed, country of connection, volume of visits). These statistics are compiled from the server’s technical logs, without any cookie being set and without individual tracking. They do not allow you to be identified.
2.5 Cookies
This website uses no advertising cookies and no trackers for marketing or profiling purposes. Only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site are set: remembering the display language you have chosen, displaying the questionnaire (so that it is not shown again on every page), and closing the newsletter panel — whose sole purpose is to avoid showing the panel again, and which is retained for 30 days. As these cookies are exempt from consent, no consent banner is displayed. You may nevertheless delete them at any time through your browser settings.
2.6 Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter — through the panel on the website or by ticking the dedicated box on one of our forms — we collect your email address in order to send you our news and product information.
Purpose: to inform you of our new products, our news and our presence at trade fairs.
Legal basis: your consent, given through a tick box separate from the one relating to the handling of your enquiry.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the foot of every message, or by writing to contact@maitrepierre.com. Your address is then removed from our mailing list.
3. Recipients of the data
Your data is intended for the sales and marketing teams of Maître Pierre, and for authorised individuals within Groupe MAS involved in commercial follow-up. It may be processed by our technical subcontractors acting on instruction, in particular our host OVH SAS (hosting within the European Union). Email addresses collected for the newsletter may also be processed by an emailing provider acting on instruction and hosted within the European Union. Your data is neither sold, rented nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Transfers outside the European Union
Data collected through this website is hosted within the European Union. No transfer to a third country is carried out at this time.
5. Retention periods
Business contacts: 3 years from the last contact. Email address (newsletter): until you unsubscribe. Traffic statistics: 13 months maximum. Server technical logs: 12 months. At the end of these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
The website is protected by an SSL certificate encrypting all exchanges. Access to contact data is restricted to authorised individuals through individual identification. Technical measures protecting against intrusion are in place on the website and its hosting.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Access: to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and to receive a copy of it
- Rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Erasure: to request the deletion of your data
- Restriction: to request that processing be temporarily suspended
- Objection: to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, in particular to any commercial prospecting
- Portability: to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
